What is the possibility that the Kraken is real? Were the stories exaggerated or was the creature really as big as an island? There has defiantly not been any documented island sized creatures found lurking in the waters, but there has been several discoveries of squids of enormous proportions. The largest giant squid recorded was found on the coast of New Zealand. It measured 32 feet from the head to the end of the tentacle. That is huge! Are there larger squids out there? Or have they just died off? There is no hard evidence that the Kraken ever existed but there is always that slight possibility.
